Texas 5-Frame Nuc with Complete Hive Setup

Our nucs are produced from established Texas honey bee colonies and receive a new queen before pickup. We install the 5-frame nuc into your new beehive, which includes a painted bottom board and a painted deep box, with the 5-frame nuc installed and a minimum of three frames of brood. Three new frames are ready to be built on. The 1.5 gallon internal feeder takes the space of two frames, for eight frames total. It also includes an inner cover, telescoping cover, entrance reducer, ratchet strap, and a screened front that you remove when you place the hive on your property.

Beehive Transport Net (sold separately)

The Beehive Transport Net is a ventilated, slip-on transport net with a smooth zip closure. It keeps your bees safely contained while you move the hive, and the mesh lets air flow so the colony stays cool on the drive home. Add it to your order.

Pickup

Local pickup only; we do not ship live bees. Pickup is expected in early May 2027, with final timing dependent on spring weather and colony development. You will receive pickup instructions by email.
