This is a working honeybee farm and there are no bathrooms on site. There are restrooms at the Country Feed Store one minute from the farm. 

Ready to start your beekeeping journey the right way? Join us at the Ten Box Bees Honey Farm in Burleson, Texas for an intimate, hands-on 3-hour class where you'll get into the hive, get your hands dirty, and leave with the confidence to manage your first colony.

What You'll Learn

·         We’ll kick things off with a live nucleus colony transfer, then cover everything you need to know from your very first day with a new hive all the way to pulling your first honey harvest.

·         How to identify the queen, eggs, and brood

·         How to inspect a hive safely and confidently

·         Basic hive management and seasonal considerations for Texas beekeepers

·         Common beginner mistakes and how to avoid them
